Herefordshire - Much Birch - Amazing History - 80 Acres - Dragon Diggers
SUNDAY - our second visit to this new farm 80 acres of new ground all pasture has had a norman castle in the main field 1066-1539 declassified as it wasn't used for fortification so it's ok to dig on ?the barn was used by Charles 1st and his army to camp on the way into Gloucestershire. apart from my reccy the farmer who I service his tractor has assured me no one has ever been allowed to detect on it and he is keen to see if there's any history in the fields ?arrive after 8am for a 9am start and £20 per person detecting paid on the day. detail go up the afternoon before but rough location much birch Much Birch MapFind Out More Here »Herefordshire
